Why Magalie&ME?

Magalie was my mother’s nickname — a name full of grace, passed down from my grandmother. Naming the brand after her was my way of saying this is for you. But it’s also about something bigger: the quiet rituals we share with the women in our lives.

For both of us, skincare has always meant more than results. It’s about connection — between mother and daughter, friends, generations. Magalie & ME is a tribute to those moments.

Was There A Moment That Sparked It All?

My dry skin responded so well to Korean beauty products—but I wanted something made in Germany. So I tested some “clean” German brands. Nice branding, cute messaging—but the formulas? Fettig. Klebrig. Greasy. Sticky. Disappointing.

I knew I could do better—smarter, more effective, without compromise. It was science, curiosity, and a little vanity. And yes, I ran the numbers—I’m a finance girl. No myth. Just a real need, and a real opportunity.

Who Are You Creating These Products For?

We create our products for women who are done compromising—women with full lives, discerning standards, and skin that demands more than marketing fluff. She’s smart, sensitive, and intentional.

Awakening

During the global lockdown, Jasmin explored countless natural skincare products—yet none met her standards for texture, efficacy, or formulation. Frustrated by the compromises, she envisioned a brand that would merge science and self-care: high-performance skincare rooted in conscious ingredient and sensorial rituals.

Formulation

Magalie&ME began to take form—drawing inspiration from the innovation and layering principles of Korean skincare. Jasmin focused on developing formulas powered by bio-certified ingredients and biomimetic actives that work in harmony with the skin. The vision: transformation over trends, with results backed by both science and intention.

Foundation

Jasmin officially became Founder and Managing Director of her own skincare company. That same year, at a Mission Female event in Frankfurt, she met Vuyiswa. Seated next to each other by chance, a meaningful exchange began—built on shared values and mutual curiosity.

Integrity

Magalie&ME defined its core standards: sustainable packaging, cruelty-free development, and derm-tested formulations. With meticulous care, Jasmin built a brand that spoke to women seeking integrity, not illusion. As the formulations delivered visible results, a loyal community began to grow—drawn to the efficacy of the products and the calm confidence of the philosophy

Partnership

In May, Jasmin and Vuyiswa reconnected at the Mission Female Xchange Conference in Hamburg—this time as panelists. Jasmin presented Magalie&ME; Vuyiswa, now on the investor panel, listened closely. In the months that followed, their connection deepened. Vuyiswa tested the products, resonated with the vision, and saw the brand’s potential. With her background in scaling startups and a shared commitment to inclusive luxury, she chose to invest in the company—marking the beginning of a powerful partnership.

Evolution

Magalie&ME continues to evolve. With a refined visual identity and global outlook, the brand bridges science and sensibility—offering skincare that elevates everyday rituals through bio-certified performance and quiet confidence.
